You will regret it! My Audi nearly burned my house down.
Why shouldn’t you buy one?

Over priced

Defect ridden

Subpar Customer Care
I own a 2022 Audi Etron. It has been a nightmare from almost the day that I bought it. Within a few months of buying the car, I was forced to bring it back to the dealership and leave it for weeks due to a defect part. I actually had to bring the car to be left for service twice for the same issue because they failed to diagnose the problem on the first try.
The car has never performed to the advertised range of over 200 miles per charge, best case is probably 175 miles in optimal weather conditions, not using heat or air conditioning and driving without accelerating too quickly. More typical is 155-160 miles at a 90% charge.
Most horrifying has been the charging issues. My charging outlet was professionally installed and the charger that Audi provided burned out the safety shutoff within a month or two. At some point thereafter, Audi advised that there was a recall on these chargers. They instructed me to go to the dealership to get a new one. However, for months on end, my local dealership said they didn’t have one to provide.
Finally, Audi corporate agreed to ship me a new charger to be mounted to the wall. Again, less than a month after install, I smelled burning in my garage one evening after plugging in my car. Luckily, I caught the issue before it lit my house on fire but it had already burned out the charging cable and my outlet. These risks were never disclosed when Audi sold me the vehicle.
When I reached out to Audi about the near disaster caused by their product, the response was abysmal. They immediately attempted to shift blame and refused to come out to evaluate or provide any sort of corrective measure until I provide a slew of information. The lack of empathy in particular was galling.
My advice to anyone considering an Audi is do not buy it. I have a Lexus SUV as well that I love and have had no issues with. Buy a Lexus instead.
